Fall is (finally) in the Air!

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with another inspiration for Dies R Us; your super store of everything dies! There is definitely a touch of Fall here in SoCal, finally…OK, it's still in the 80's but the mornings are 60! I'll take what I can get right now, LOL.

This simple die, Pinecone Frame from Memory Box, inspired my design for the week. This die makes two cuts at once, one is a frame with branch and the other is a background with pine cones.  I cut once with a neutral paper and again with a dark brown paper. The neutral paper was then stamped with an all over pattern; I then stamped the pine boughs down the length of the branch. I layered the stamped paper onto a polka dot brown cardstock and then "inlayed" the dark brown frame and branch.
Check out the many dies carried by Dies R Us, seriously huge selection! Plus shipping is free with a purchase of $35 or more, can't beat that. You have no excuses for not finding "that" special die.

Until next week, thanks for stopping by,

"Trick or Treat"

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with another inspiration for Dies R Us! Only a few days left before Halloween so this is my last Halloween design for this year, boo hoo!  But we still have our "Halloween" challenge going on at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog; stop by and look at all the great designs from our design team and everyone who has posted in the challenge gallery! You still have time to submit a Halloween design for our twice monthly challenge!
I decided to use several dies to make this fun card; I have listed the dies used at the end of my post. After layering my Happy Halloween onto the lime green background paper I cut a circle and backed it with a swirly orange paper. The edges were sponged along with the edges of the moon. Next I added the Manor House and backed it with the same swirly orange paper, added the Grand Willow Tree, the Trick or Treat Border (super cute), the ghost in the door and lastly the bats.
The tree was cut down to fit my card, so don't ever hesitate to trim your die cuts to suit your design!

Dies used:
Happy Halloween Border - Memory Box
Manor House - Memory Box
Trick or Treat Border - Cheery Lynn
Ghost Trio - Memory Box
Grand Willow Tree - Memory Box
Bunch Of Bats - Memory Box

Witchy Sayings

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my inspiration of the week for Dies R Us! Check out Dies R Us for all your die shopping needs.
I think Halloween is my favorite holiday and this card just says it all! I fell in love with Taylored Expressions The Witch Is In die set; lots of options for shoe style and leggings, LOL. I stamped my sentiment, from Taylored Expressions and used Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Rectangles  to cut it out along with a contrast scalloped rectangle. The witches hat is from the Spellbinders set Witches Brew.
After wrapping the purple scalloped rectangle with ribbon I added my sentiment with foam pop ups, glued the witch's legs between the layers and added it to my card with more foam pop ups. The hat was added along with the purple nail heads on the witches shoes!

By now we are all into Halloween on the DRU Challenge Blog! Stop by the blog and see how easy it is to enter…you just might win a gift certificate to Dies R Us!

Witch in the Moon

How appropriate I am writing this post on the eve of a blood moon, eerie! This card is for the Dies R Us challenge, starting TODAY! Don't delay, make a Halloween card and enter it for a chance to win a gift certificate to Dies R Us!
I did a bit of "inlay" with the Taylored Expressions - 13 Deadend Drive die cut. I added the yellow to the moon, a bright green for a street and just a sliver of purple for the door.  Other dies I used are Memory Box - DeLacie BorderMemory Box - A Bunch Of Bats and Spellbinders - Labels Twenty Five.
My card was finished with a few gem stones and a cute sentiment from Memory Box.

Poppystamps Thicket Wreath

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my inspiration of the week for Dies R Us! You really should stop by the shop and see how many new dies have arrived for the holidays!
My card started with the Thicket Wreath die from Poppystamps. I cut the wreath from a tone on tone polka dot dark brown card stock. This die does double duty as a stencil, great idea Poppystamps! By leaving the paper in the die I was able to color the leaves quite easily! I used the Paper Smooches Dot & Dashes to create the stitched edge on my sentiment banner.
The little Fall tag is accented with a leaf from Impression Obsessions Small Leaf Set, too cute! The card is finished with a few wraps of twine, small twine bow and a button!
Just a quick reminder, shipping is FREE when your order is $35 or more! I think that is the lowest minimum on the web! Be sure to check out all the Design Team members inspirations for the week on our Dies R Us Blog!

And, our Challenge Blog will have a new challenge starting next week; the theme is "Halloween".

Until next week, thanks for stopping by,

Stand Alone Die Cuts

Happy Thursday everyone, here is my inspiration of the week for Dies R Us! We are getting closer and closer to the holidays and you know what that means, yup, no time for anything too complicated. Take a look at the Dies R Us store and check out all the stand alone dies they carry; some are just one die cut, a quickly stamped sentiment and poof you're done!
This quick card started with Die-Versions Patterned Pumpkin die that was cut from a copper metallic cardstock. I adhered the pumpkin with spray adhesive to a medium brown dot patterned paper and added light brown and green pearls.
There is something about burlap that just says "Fall" so I had to add this to my card. After the ribbon was added I adhered the layer to my base card with foam strips.
My sentiment was stamped onto a Cheery Lynn Scalloped Window Stacker die cut. These dies have a beautiful small scalloped edge and the embossed edge is an added element. All in all, a super quick card made possible with a stand alone die for your main focus.

We have just started a new challenge on the DRU challenge blog, so hop on over and check it out. Our challenge features "Gift Tags"! And who doesn't need gift tags at this time of year? Don't forget, to sign up for the DRU newsletter, lots of information on what's new and on sale!

See you here next week and thanks for stopping by,
