All You Need is LOVE!

Happy Die R Us Thursday everyone! Robin here with another Valentine's design using a few of the many dies from Dies R Us! I think Valentine's Day is such a sweet (no pun intended) day to remember your sweetie! Not to mention the next day just happens to be my birthday...are you listening DH?
My card starts with a white side fold card base, A2 in size. I then cut a sheet of polka dot card stock slightly smaller and set aside. The fancy heart is Die-Versions Fancy Love Heart and was cut from red card stock. Then I covered the heart with VersaMark and used clear embossing powder to give it a shinny appearance. The bottom heart strip is Hearts Border from Tailored Expressions that I cut from white card stock and adhered to bottom of dotted paper. I cut the same die again, this time using red card stock and inlaid the hearts into the strip. I glued the fancy heart onto the background paper and then adhered the entire background to my card base using foam tape.

I stamped my sentiment and cut it out using Taylored Expressions Tag Stacklets 1. I added an enameled brad and adhered the tag to my card using foam pop ups.

Be sure to check out Dies R Us, not only is it a GREAT store but they have an Inspiration Blog AND a twice monthly Challenge Blog! Don't be left out!

Until next Thursday, thanks for stopping by...

Be Mine

Happy Dies R Us Thursday everyone! It's time to start thinking about a new year of holidays coming our way...yes the next major card giving day is just around the corner! February 14th, Valentine's Day, in case you forgot!
My Valentine card starts with an A2 card base in an off white, Bazzill Walnut Cream. I used the same paper to cut Poppystamps Woodland Oval die and MFT Die-namics Hearts a Plenty (scalloped).  From a designer Valentine paper (4 x 51/4)  I cut a negative space with the Woodland Oval die and adhered another heart paper on the back. I then glued the Woodland Oval into the negative space. After adding my heart ribbon to the bottom I used foam tape to add to my card base. I stamped my sentiment (Avery Elle) onto the heart, lightly sponged the edges, added a glitter heart and attached the heart with foam pop ups.

Be sure to stop by the Dies R Us store, they have many of the new releases in stock, just waiting for YOU! Shipping is FREE on orders $35 or more!

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my weekly design for Dies R Us, your online super store for dies! This card started with the Sue Wilson Designs Daisies dies. I enjoy creating with flowers so...
Create an A7 (5x7) card base. Cut a pale designer paper to 4 5/8" x 6 5/8", distress the edges and lightly sponge the edges with a complimentary ink. From white card stock cut the beautiful Austrian Collection Background, from Sue Wilson Designs, and adhere to your designer paper.  Add to card base with foam tape.
From a light pink card stock cut the flowers using Sue Wilson Designs Complete Delicate Daisies; lightly sponge the petals. From white card stock cut flower outline using Sue Wilson Designs Open Delicate Daisies, glue to solid petals and adhere yellow prills to centers. Cut the foliage using Cheery Lynn Olive Branches. Heartfelt Sunny Paperweight

Happy New Year everyone and welcome to my first project of the new year for Heartfelt Creations! This paperweight uses the Classic Sunflower Collection and is a quick and easy project.

This project started when I saw a wood block at my local craft store. Now I realize my DH has some scrap 4"x4" in the garage, but I also know what it would have taken to get him to make me a few blocks. Not only would he have had to clean off the chop saw, at least a 2 day project, but I am sure it would require a new saw blade which would mean a trip to Home Depot and a few other woodworking stores. So my $3 block would probably have cost at least $50 and taken a few days to finally have it in my hands.

Hello 2014!

Happy New Year everyone! Robin here with my Dies R Us inspiration of the week! I just had to make a New Year's card since my posting day fell on January 1st.

I started with an A2 side fold card base, added this super fun paper from Papertrey Ink and then cut 1/2" off the right front of my card. I added a pretty magenta strip of paper on the inside of the card and cut the word "Hello" from the same paper.  I cut 2015 using Lawn Fawn Louie"s 123s die from white card stock and cut the numbers again from matte silver paper.  I used Tailored Expressions Banner Stacklets 2 to cut out the 2015 banner. Using glue I inlaid the silver numbers, I added the banner to my card using foam pop ups and added the the word "Hello" using liquid glue.

Be sure to stop by Dies R Us they have great sales and a huge inventory of dies for you to choose from; PLUS their shipping is free when you spend $35 or more!

Have a Very Happy 2015 and thanks for stopping by,
