Christmas Greetings to All!

Merry Christmas everyone! Robin here with my Thursday inspiration of the week for Dies R Us and it happened to land on Christmas Day!  I'm wishing everyone the best of the holidays for you and your families.
For this card I used Memory Box Frostyville Wreath die. I made a white card base and used a red card stock for contrast. I then cut a white piece of card stock slightly smaller than the red and then embossed with a snowflake embossing folder. I heat embossed the greeting in silver and cut it out using a circle from  Spellbinders Celebration Circles.  I then added my ribbon to the embossed card and added to my card base. The red greeting was added with foam pop ups and the Frostyville Wreath was then added to the edge of my red circle.  The card was finished with rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day,

Time for Thank Yous!

Welcome to the December 15th Dies R Us Challenge! My design for is a Thank You card and I can always use a bunch of them at this time of year! As always I try to keep it simple around the holidays and this card is very simple.

This card started with a white top fold A2 card base; I then cut a matte silver piece of card stock slightly smaller and added it to my card base. I added the snowflake paper to the top of the silver card stock. I used my favorite handwritten Thanks from Paper Smooches Dies and cut the word from a matte silver. The stitched banner is from Lawn Fawn, stamped my sentiment and adhered my word. I added brads to the banner and used foam pop ups to add to my card base.

Not only is Dies R Us the best on the web for die selection and price, but we have a great challenge twice a month! So check out the challenge blog, see what our current challenge theme is and submit your design! YOU could be the winner of a gift card!

Until next time, thanks for stopping by,

Merry Christmas Time is Here!

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my latest design for Dies R Us! You still have time to order your dies AND make your holiday cards! I got behind with the passing of my MIL and well, you know. So I will definitely be making quick and easy card next week.

This simple and quick card uses the Poppystamps Magnificent Merry die along with Tailored Expressions Tag Stacklets 1.  Create an A2 top fold card base from white card stock. Then cut two layers one from a matte silver and one from a designer paper; adhere both layers together. Cut your "merry" from red card stock, lightly sponge the top with white ink and adhere to your sandwiched layers. I used GIANT red rick rack and white grosgrain ribbon wrapped around the bottom of the layer.

Attach the layer to your card base with foam pop-ups, stamp your sentiment and then cut out with your tag die. Add the tag to your card with a glue dot and finish with a red gem.

Dies R Us has so many holiday dies to choose from it's hard to decide which one to get...so pick up a few! Dies R Us has great prices and shipping is FREE with a $35 purchase or more! Don't forget to check out our Challenge Blog for a chance to win a gift card AND take a look at the Dies R Us Blog for some great inspiration from our amazing design team members.

Happy Christmas

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my Christmas inspiration card for Dies R Us! The holiday are definitely upon us, no stopping them now! So, you some quick cards? Well this design is for you!

Using just two dies you can put together this card in no time! I started with a white cardstock and used an all over stamp to create my background.  I cut out the Memory Box Grand Happy Christmas from my background and layered it onto a tone on tone dark blue polka dot paper. I then cut the village from the same blue cardstock using Impression Obsession's Town Scene die; I backed the die cut with yellow paper and added to the front of my card.

To finish my card I added a gem stone to "dot" the i in Christmas! Don't forget to sometimes keep it simple and take some stress out of your life!

Take a look at the  Dies R Us Blog for some great inspiration from our amazing design team members. Then head on over to our store, Dies R Us, pick up a few dies and you are ready to get to town on your holiday cards! Shipping is FREE with a $35 purchase!

Best Wishes, Romantique Style

Well last week it was Thanksgiving and now we are on to Christmas! My DH put the outside lights and decorations up last Saturday; I guess after 28 years he finally gets it...put them up early and avoid my nagging, lol. Also on a different note...IT'S RAINING!!! Finally, we sure needed this last storm out here in California.

This week I'm sharing another design from Heartfelt Creations latest release, Romantique Garden Collection. It's a stunning collection with stamps, dies and paper; all coordinated to make your projects go together smoothly!

I embossed my image on vellum using VersaMark and silver embossing powder. I then used Copic markers, on the BACK, to color my image. By coloring on the back it keeps your embossing from picking up the color of your marker.

Each Wednesday all our Design Team members have new projects to give you ideas and inspire you to create your own projects! Be sure to check out each DT members designs, they are all talented ladies! Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day everyone! Robin here with my design of the week for Dies R Us! It's Thanksgiving Day here in the United States, so I am wishing all of you a "Thankful" day with family and friends!

Although I do try to make cards that go together quickly, this is not one of them! I make a few intricate cards for "special" family and friends; you know, the ones who appreciate your work and won't toss them out with the spent ribbon after the holidays, LOL. This beautiful snowflake is the Impression Obsession Large Snowflake die set. This die set actually has 4 cutouts for you to put together anyway you like.
I cut the snowflakes out with white card stock; then using the negative space created I adhered the white card to a red card base. Then came the tedious part, since the snowflake on the far right in the picture above is so intricate, I couldn't use my go to spray adhesive. So I carefully put small dots of glue in half the area and attached the first "flake"; it actually wasn't that bad. Would I want to make 48, no, but I am making 12! Then I added the small "flake" to the center and ta da it was done. A note to all, stamp your sentiment FIRST before you put all the work into your card, JUST IN CASE.
The card was finished with rhinestones! I only have 11 more to make…no sweat!

Have a wonderful day and if the dishes are done, leftovers put up and you have your feet up stop by Dies R Us and shop, shop, shop!

Until next week, "Thanks" for stopping by today,

"Tag" it's almost Christmas!

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my design of the week for Dies R Us! This online store is the "Best" place to shop for all your die needs or wants!
For this "Tag" card I embossed a piece of white cardstock with a Snowflake embossing folder from Taylored Expressions. I then cut two tags using Taylored Expressions Tag Stacklets 1, the red tag I embossed on the diagonal with a stripe embossing folder and sponged the edges with white ink.  The white tag was stamped with my sentiment and layered onto the red tag with foam pop ups.
I cut my snowflakes using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflakes die set, layered them together as shown and then added to my tag with foam pop ups. I added a cute bakers twine bow and a few small gem stones to finish the card.

As always, if Dies R Us is out of stock on a die, add your name to the out of stock form and you will be notified as soon as they have it back in stock.

WOW, DRU is celebrating 1000 likes!!! And we are thanking YOU by offering a chance at winning one of three gift vouchers! Please be sure to follow on our  Facebook page and comment on our event page (NOT ON OUR PERSONAL BLOGS).
