Anniversary Card…..

OK, maybe I'm over doing it with this Marianne Craft die but it's amazing how many ways you can use this die.  This anniversary card was made using the die as an embossing element AND as a cut out (silver), see there is more to a die than just cutting out!  I used the die and embossed opposite corners of my card stock, attached some sheer ribbon on the diagonal and then adhered the cut outs on the remaining corners.  The product I used to emboss is called the "No More Shims" embossing mat; this is really a must have for embossing and makes embossing very simple.  I layered my card stock with a matte silver paper and adhered that to my card base.

I then attached a sheer bow and put an organza ribbon rose in the center; both ribbon and rose are from May Arts.  The sentiment is Large Fancy Sentiments by JustRite and is stamped with the new Delicata silver ink by Tsukineko.

The card was finished using a Flourish die cut from My Favorite Things, a faux glass button from Bazzill and embellished with Gems by Hero Arts.
